shawan road is just two lanes. head west and it's a pretty drive. farms, orchards and i think i saw some horses grazing in the fields once. it's a windy road tho and i have a slight headache from the very short drive i took during my lunch break to take pictures. (i get very bad motion sickness, even when i'm the driver.) sitting in traffic one day i noticed a pretty driveway, graveled and lined on either side with trees. and in the distance a white house. so pretty. but by the time i got my camera out, the traffic started moving. i drove back that way again today but there's no shoulder to park my car and it's a rather busy street, even at 1pm. bummer.
so this driveway was a tad bit more secluded.

Elk -- i can't wait to see what it'll look like in the Fall.
Elizabeth -- it is a rather windy road and quite lovely for a bike ride... or in my case, a stroll! :)
