she's guarding two eggs.

so my roommate and i will guard over her until her babies hatch.

we've named her Guadalupe.

we're going to be aunts and we love them already!

spent a long weekend in Puerto Rico with jason. during the walk to the beach, we passed a couple. i observed them for a moment. they were oblivious to the lovely water, the palm trees shading them, to people milling about. they were too busy being in love.

spring is finally around the corner. march is over halfway over already. i am hopeful. just for the sunshine and warmth. for the country to claw our way out of this economic slump. march madness starts today! (my alma mater made it to the dance and tho they probably will not advance beyond the first round, i really am excited for the Highlanders!)

and that these braces will make my teeth straighter much faster than anticipated and they'll come out sooner. :)

i took this picture upside down. well, actually, at a weird angle. i think this quote "live laugh love" is so true. it means something, or it should. and as i get older, it's something i want my everyday to be like.

one of baltimore's mottos is Believe. this word is everywhere. in a time like now it gives one Hope. one day while pumping gas during my lunch break, i looked up and saw this fence. and even tho i was starving and all i had was leftover waiting for me back at the office, this image made me feel better.

i've been making jab lunch this week. we're experimenting. he goes out to lunch everyday, which isn't very healthy or nice on the wallet. i've been making typical lunch fare and today's menu includes turkey and cheese sandwich. i just added a little something special to it. :)

jab and i constructed this heart the other night. he is so patient with me and my little obsessive hobbies. it was the first night in a long while that we had the chance to spend quality time together. i woke up the next morning with a lighter heart.
